“It is at this point that his implacable observation of reality makes him a great artist. I say relentless because the observation of an artist does not consist only of putting his eyes to work: it is the result of his honesty, of his personal struggle to understand what he sees. “
— John Berger
From what place do we look at what we see? What leads us to decide to take a shot in one moment and not in another? Through experimental exercises and keeping track of the creative process in which each of the participants of the workshop is, we will discover the genesis of the photographic act, getting closer and closer to that space, a point of convergence between the image and the camera: body. The workshop will be separated by four themes that will go through and guide the search of each participant of the workshop that will go from the collective to the intimate. We will accompany each meeting with readings, and texts by philosophers, writers, painters. We finish with the screening of an artist. To whom it is addressed: To anyone who wants to approach photography, those who already photograph and seek to deepen.
