Carolina Bernachea

Contemporary Jewelry

From my earlier memories in my family home, handcraft was always present, I have always been creating art with my hands. Since 2005, I have been designing jewelry in silver and alternative materials. My inspiration stems from the observation of events that occur around us, the way we react and relate to the environment in the search for balance. I am amazed by the transformation process of materials, and the sensations felt in each stage of change. As a result, there may be pieces worn on the body, dressing a wall or lying on surface. Currently I am designing and working at my own workshop and I also teach jewelry to adults and children.
